Spreading Happiness through our own Uniqueness

I think humans are generally good people, we all have one thing in common that links all of us, we all strive to be happy. Our society today because of an out of date system, we have created a system of scarcity and greed but it doesn’t have to be this way, even in the system we currently live in. We are constantly given an ideal of having the dream life and the dream life is build around what we have been told through various marketing avenues. Marketing carefully builds a picture of what we need and even for those who have everything they can possibly need like a fancy sports car or even a yacht, more is made to add to the lives of these people who already live in a life of complete material abundance.

There seems to be no shortage of the potential to consume at all levels. Living as a poor person by the western standard, the right marketing strategy would be to offer something the individual could afford and then selling it by ways of explaining how it would add to the person’s life. This way of marketing is the only way to market; you play on the emotions of someone in order to make them feel like its essential in their life.

These products that we are sold through marketing strategies need to be marketed in this way because they are not completely needed in our lives, they are more like an extension to our lives, to hopefully make our lives easier. How often do you see marketing companies promote carrots, carrots sell themselves and we know they are good for us so no marketing is needed. A phone is like an extension and is actually very useful but the level of consumerism needed to keep these companies producing more and more while profiting is a joke, we simply do not need these constant small upgrades.

What if all we needed is each other? I feel people are changing, we are becoming so much more interconnected and thankfully through the belief and courageousness of a few people, spreading a message of helping others is spreading faster than ever.

I think we all want to help others, we all want to see smiles on people’s faces and we all want this because it makes us happy. Manoj Bhargave is no different, he also wanted this but it ended up coming a reality. He is now a billionaire and he reinvests all of his fortunes into projects to help and make other peoples lives better by developing useful products and in return gets satisfaction.

Watch this documentary about the changes Manoj Bhargave has achieved. Not because he has to but because he couldn’t see any other way to fulfil his life.

You don’t have to be rich like Manoj Bhargave, we all have in us that little something special unique to us as a person that can add to someones or many peoples lives, it just takes a little effort. In return, we are rewarded with that feeling inside of us.
